Lillian's 1st Birthday

I have been photographing all sorts of events, portraits, objects for advertising, etc for nearly 13 years but I am always excited when someone wants me to be a part of their special event to photograph.
This past weekend I was invited to Miss Lillian's 1st birthday to capture the day! The Trapp family is so funny, including little Addison (Lillian's big sister).

Here are a few pictures from Lillian's special day.

Lillian, I hope you had a fantastic 1st birthday! Thank you to the Trapp family for allowing Ray and I to be a part of your special day!

Trip down Memory Lane

Typically a trip down memory lane never ends well, but tonight I did just that but it brought a smile to my face! I sat down at my desk computer, mostly because I needed to use the scanner, and ended up browsing through old, VERY old photography. Not sure how many of you know this but I actually started out in advertising photography for a local magazine. I like to think I have come a long way since then but I thought I would share a few of my favs and while I am sure most some of the companies ads posted are out of business now, there may a few that get a little extra internet publicity!

Advertising photography is so different than anything else I have ever done, but I enjoyed it! Hope you enjoyed my trip down memory lane as well! :)

Welcome to the World Baby David

This week I had the pleasure to photograph baby David! This little boy is just so handsome and once he caught on to why I was there, he was quite the little ham! He would follow me with my eyes and we even caught him turning over twice, I was quite impressed for 18 days old!
Here are a few pictures from his newborn session.

Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home to photograph sweet David!

Morgan and Ryan's Wedding

Morgan and Ryan tied the knot on July 16th at Senate's End in downtown Columbia! This couple was truely so much fun to work with. Here are some of my favorites from their special day.

Watching her guest arrive before the ceremony

Cocky made a surprise appearance at the reception!

The cake was made by Theresa Rhodes (The mother of the groom).

The photobooth was a HUGE hit at the reception!

I had so much fun with these two and their families! Thank you for having me be a part of your special day!

Morgan's Bridal Portraits

A few months ago I photographed Morgan's bridal portraits at the beautiful Lace House at the Governor's Mansion. Now that the wedding is over I can finally show off this absolutely stunning bride! Her are a few from her session.

Morgan was such a pleasure to work with and I am truely honored she chose me to photograph her special day (wedding pictures to come soon)!
